In my opinion, when mounting an optic to the VZ-58, the only option is the upper rail. I have seen those dust cover mounts which are a joke and the RS Regulate side mounts which are way too heavy and sit too high. For some reason VZ-58 owners like to mount EOTechs to the upper rail. EOTech is a good option for an AR-15 but looks horrendous on a + Sa vz.58 is nearly a pound and a half lighter than the AK rifles, so the soldier can run a little bit faster , which can be key to some situations in game (running to point etc.) + Sa vz.58 used thanks to unique mechanism not only mags, but can be reloaded with stripper clips, if you run out of magazines.

The WASR-10 is pretty light. While the Century Arms website lists them at 7.5 pounds, our test gun weighed only 6 pounds and 13 ounces. The wood furniture has a serviceable finish in that it has decent sanding and low shine. The grain is nice, though subtle, and the color is very light, like pine. BONUS: Shoot better.

The VZ58 uses 7.62x39mm and the FAL uses 7.62x51mm. There is way more parts and accessories and mags out there for the FAL. No contest. The FAL has more power and more range. Obecně má Sa vz. 58 vyšší kadenci ran (800 za minutu) než AK-47 (600 za minutu). Díky tomu je Kalašnikov zvladatelnější, ovšem méně předvídatelný než Sa vz. 58, který má větší zdvih hlavně. Díky většímu otvoru pro vyhazování nábojnic je u Sa vz. 58 menší šance zachycení nábojnice v komoře.
