I think a small amount of effort to show AMD is on the ball would go a very long way. One sentence might even stop the long list of benchmarking sites from testing with non 'game ready' drivers that make AMD look bad. A year ago I have bought a Lenovo Z50-75 with AMD FX-7500 (4 cores, 2100-3300 MHz), 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, 1TB + 8GB SSHD. I got the version with the FullHD screen. I got the version with the FullHD screen. AMD is generally well supported. Looking on the internet for posts about the R7 and FX graphics shows lots of happy users, including games enthusiasts, with Mint, Ubuntu, Manjaro, Fedora, etc. upon cogitation, tempered with experience, i'd say MX-18 may be a good place to look. Purely subjectively, of course!
